Advertising Solutions

A. No advertisement or public service announcement shall be accepted by ISM Connect for display, which is to the knowledge of ISM Connect, its Partners and affiliates:

  • 1. No Advertising promoting hatred; violence; harassment; racism; sexual, religious, or political intolerance, or organizations with such views
  • 2. Content that inappropriately discriminates against a person or group
  • 3. Content that advocates for the infliction of physical injury on oneself or another person
  • 4. Content that promotes cruelty or gratuitous violence towards animals
  • 5. Content that may be deemed as capitalizing on or lacking reasonable sensitivity towards a natural disaster, conflict, death, or other tragic event
  • 6. No Content that’s likely to shock or disgust
  • 7. No content that’s exploitative or appears to unfairly capitalize at the expense of others
  • 8. No advertising promoting the sale or use of alcohol, guns/firearms or tobacco shall be allowed.
  • 9. False, misleading or deceptive (which shall not apply to any advertising promotional statements, or claims that involve puffery); or
  • 10. Clearly defamatory; or
  • 11. Obscene or pornographic according to local community standards; or
  • 12. In advocacy of unlawful violent action.
  • 13. Advertisements of a political or editorial or election nature, either for a specific candidate(s) or an issue(s), are to contain the statement. “Paid for By {sponsor’s name}”; including (when an election campaign is involved) the State committee number, if applicable, in bold type with letters at least three inches (3”) high and shall comply with any then-existing laws regarding political advertising.

B. Reasonable proof or clarification of statements contained in any advertisement may be required by Landlord as a condition of use or continued use of the advertisement.

C. Advertisement of civic, public service or other announcements or messages on the Digital media system is not intended to nor do they create a public forum. The Advertising Structures are non-public forums.

D. The Landlord and/or ISM Connect may revise the Advertising Standards from time to time by adding restrictions or prohibitions on the advertising of products that are substantially similar to alcohol, firearms or tobacco (as reasonably determined by the Landlord and/or ISM Connect).

E. The Landlord will provide ISM Connect a list of advertisers which cannot be approached by ISM Connect and shall provide ISM Connect with clear guidelines and details of who those advertisers are and the reason they cannot be approached.

Content Management Process

A. ISM Connect manages all content from its offices at 169 N Main Street, Doylestown PA. Landlord will have the ability to review all advertising if the Landlord so wishes. ISM Connect will maintain a reasonable list of advertisers/sponsors and categories, which would not be acceptable to ISM Connect. The Landlord may at its discretion provide additions to this list. This is standard practice and required for participation in the ISM Connect network. There are a number of reasons for some advertising clients to be excluded from the ISM Connect Digital Media System, for example existing corporate relationships, pending litigation, and misrepresentation of the ISM Connect corporate model. This process developed by ISM Connect will be the operating guidelines (The Advertising Standards) to be followed while running or creating content, and can ensure that no content is deployed to the screens that would violate those guidelines.

B. All content will be run using a rotation schedule, which provides 1-2 weeks for Landlord and/or ISM Connect to review content as needed.

C. Upon agreement, advertisers/sponsors will be given creative format guidelines. This is handled solely by ISM Connect as these are technical specifications for the type of media needed to run on the screens.

D. The Digital Media System may be capable of interfacing with existing Landlord communications systems, in case of emergency. All material communicated in the event of an emergency must comply with this policy. Emergency broadcast material provided by the Landlord is the material, property, and responsibility of the Landlord.
